Estonia, officially the Republic of Estonia (Estonian: Eesti or Eesti Vabariik) is a country in Northern Europe. Estonia is the smallest of the Baltic states – slightly larger than Switzerland or Denmark.
The population is only 1,4 million. Tallinn is the capital and largest city of Estonia. It lies on the northern coast of Estonia, along the Gulf of Finland. More than 70% of the population lives in the towns. The biggest cities are Tallinn, Narva, Pärnu, Kohtla-Järve, Tartu and Kuressaare. The biggest islands are Saaremaa and Hiiumaa. It is great to travel in Estonia, because it is a small country and all is near. You don't have to go by plane or sit in a train for 24 hours.
