Saaremaa
Saaremaa is the biggest island in Estonia and it is unique place with its beautiful nature and the sea around. Bread, beer and windmills as symbols of Saaremaa. The coastal areas of Saaremaa are famous seal habitats.
The largest of the craters measures 110 meters in diameter and contains a small lake (known as Kaali järv (Lake Kaali). Kaali is a small group of 9 meteorite craters.
Saaremaa is reached by ferry from Virtsu, which is itself connected to Saaremaa by a causeway, the Väinatamm. In winter it is possible to drive to Saaremaa by an ice road between the mainland and Muhu island. In summer there is lots of Finnish tourist. They buy or rent a cottage by the sea. If you want to go to Saaremaa, you can take a bus to Saaremaa, which takes you to the biggest city of Saaremaa, Kuressaare.
